Cascading Structures

for Clarinet, Violin, Cello, Piano

There are often times when situations or events are unclear until they are left to reveal themselves through time. In an attempt to musically represent this idea, Cascading Structures begins with a pointillistic texture that undergoes a gradual revelation and gradual descent into a repetitive structure intertwining among the ensemble, which eventually aligns together in greater synchrony and clarity.

Premiered in New Music on the Point Festival 2017
