I cannot remember the last time when I slept through a night without having any dreams. These dreams are often like an emotional journey that truly reflects my life in reality and often gives me realization that I would not have made while awake. lost in a sea of dreams… portrays my personal trip through the kaleidoscope of dreams, using the variation of a few basic musical motifs. Some of these motifs are loosely based on the 2nd movement of Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony, which is one of my favourite pieces and one that I often associate with dreaming and imagination. I hope it invites the listener to enter a world that is imaginative yet intuitive, similar to my personal experiences.
